To help successfully secure outline planning for the redevelopment of a former gasworks site, a timber masterplan model was used extensively with planning authorities and stakeholders.

The context blocks are constructed from lime timber and set onto a laser-etched maple veneer model surface.  A subtle change of colour applied to landscaped areas differentiates the development masterplan from its context.
